Terms and Conditions

General

  1. All Bookings are subject to a site survey if required. The first Site visit, initial consultation & quote are free, any subsequent meetings or appointments are charged at a rate of £30.00 per hour.

  2. On acceptance of Menus & Quotes, a signed copy of both the quote and the Terms & Conditions must be returned to Stylish Dining along with the relevant deposit of 50% to secure your booking.

  3. Deposits are strictly non-refundable, booked for the date as discussed at the initial consultation. It is not transferable and cannot be used as payment for any other goods or services supplied.

  4. Stylish Dining has the right to change or replace any item of food that becomes unavailable or is out of season with a suitable alternative. You will be consulted of any changes to the menu in advance.
  5. Payment

  6. All deliveries are subject to a 50% deposit on time of booking and payment in full at the time of delivery.

  7. The final balance for any booking must be received two weeks prior to the event. This can be made by personal cheque with appropriate guarantee card or cash.

  8. The guaranteed minimum number of guests must be confirmed at least 20 days before the event. We will then send you an invoice for the final balance, less the deposit already paid. Payment for this invoice must have cleared five days before the event.

  9. Final Numbers of guests must be finalised seven working days prior to the event.

  10. Should the number of guests increase or decrease, it may be necessary to re-quote to allow for changes to staff or equipment and ingredients.
  11. Hire Equipment

  12. Stylish Dining will organise the hire on your behalf, but take no responsibility for the content of hire or missing items on delivery. All hire shall be arranged by Stylish Dining at no charge to the customer unless section 11 applies.

  13. Any necessary specialist Kitchen equipment will be arranged & hired by Stylish Dining at an additional cost in order that we can fulfill our catering contract at the venue. Our preferred Hire Company will quote for these charges and a site visit will be required before the function.

  14. Any item that is provided or on hire for the function, that is lost or broken by the client or their guests will be charged for at the full replacement cost.

  15. Stylish Dining will be responsible for the replacement cost of any items broken by our staff and we will notify you of this at the end of the function.

  16. Stylish Dining will invoice you directly and you, the client, must confirm your order with Stylish Dining one week prior to the function & adhere to the hire companies Terms & Conditions.

  17. Hire charges are subject to V.A.T. @ 17.5%
  18. Cancellation Policy

  19. Cancellations must be made in writing to Stylish Dining and will not become valid until you receive confirmation of cancellation from Stylish Dining.

  20. Should the function have to be cancelled by the client for any reason, the following charges will apply:-
    (a)Between date of receiving deposit or one month before the event a charge of 30% of the total cost.
    (b)Between one month and 11 days before the event a charge of 50% of total cost.
    (c)Between ten days and 6 days before the event a charge of 75% of total cost.
    (d)5 days up to the day of the event - the full fee will be charged.

  21. Stylish Dining does not accept any liability for non-completion of the event or for delays resulting from adverse weather conditions, traffic accident or road closure, civil riots or strikes affecting the trade, fire, flood or other natural disaster, acts of terrorism, or for any other event, which is Stylish Dinings reasonable control.
  22. Health & Safety

  23. Stylish Dining have a statutory `risk assessment` policy in force (H.A.C.C.P.) which sets out our food preparation, delivery and service procedures. This policy restricts the service of foodstuffs, to a maximum of four hours after being removed from refrigeration. (A copy of relevant information is available on request).
    In accordance with Food Safety Regulations 1995, Stylish Dining will recommend appropriate procedures for safe storage & consumption in line with these regulations. Outside these recommendations we may not be held responsible.

This agreement shall be governed by English law and subject to the sole jurisdiction of the English courts.
